Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Minonk, with the Rev. Daniel Gansch-Boythe officiating. Burial will follow in Minonk Township Cemetery, Minonk. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the church or Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

She is survived by a daughter, Marie Oltman, Minonk; three sons, Virgil W. and Eldon J. (Dorothy) Folkerts, both of Minonk, and Ronald L. (Dorothy) Folkerts, Washington; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a daughter, Lorene Johnson; two brothers; and two sisters.

She was born July 26, 1897, in Benson, the daughter of Ulfert B. and Trientje Uphoff Gastmann.

She married John Henry Folkerts on Sept. 29, 1917, in Benson. He died Feb. 24, 1970.
